The Charite doctors also turned to the British military laboratory Porton Down, which studied the analyzes of Sergei and Yulia Skripal, for help.
Doctors at the Berlin clinic Charite sent tests of the Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny to the Munich laboratory complex of the Bundeswehr, which employs toxicology specialists. This was reported on Friday, August 28, by the German edition Spiegel, citing sources.
According to them, the tests were sent to Munich on August 26. In addition, the Charite doctors turned for help to the British military laboratory Porton Down, which studied the analyzes of Sergei and Yulia Skripal and determined their poisoning with Novichok poison.
The same request was sent to Bulgaria, wherein 2015 the businessman Emelyan Gebrev was treated, who was poisoned by the Novice in Sofia.
As reported, Navalny is in a consistently serious condition, but there are no threats to his life. According to Charite, the Russian oppositionist is still in a medical coma and on mechanical ventilation.
We will remind, earlier in the Charite said that Navalny was poisoned. The Omsk hospital, where he was hospitalized on August 20, denies this.
