President Donald Trump is on the rise in popularity, especially in faltering states, according to a new CNBC poll.
In the states of Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, voters are less concerned about the coronavirus than before, according to the poll. In addition, voter approval for President Trump's actions has increased.
66% of likely voters in these states said they are very worried about the coronavirus, up from 69% two weeks ago, 48% of likely voters approve of Trump's actions and 52% disapprove of his work. Two weeks ago, the same poll showed that 46% of likely voters approved of his actions, and 54% did not approve.
The approval of Trump's actions in connection with the coronavirus rose to 47% from 44% earlier this month.
Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden continues to outpace Trump in many wavering states.
