Facebook will pay over €100 million to the French government

Facebook will pay the French state an additional €106 million over the past decade in corporate tax. This was reported by Agence France-Presse (AFP).

“We take our tax obligations seriously, we pay taxes in the markets where we operate and work closely with local tax authorities,” the company said.

As specified, we are talking about additional taxes for 2009-2018. The agency also points out that the French tax authority does not comment on this situation, citing tax secrets.
