Trump announced his intention to run for a third term

A third presidential term is prohibited by the US Constitution. Trump wants to “zero” his first term — he says “they interfered in my campaign.”

US President Donald Trump announced his intention to run for a third term. He said this at a speech to voters in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, CNN reports on Wednesday, August 19.

“We will win the next four years. And after that, we will go for another four years because they interfered with my campaign. We have to repeat these four years,” Trump says.

At the same time, running for a third term in the United States is directly prohibited in the US Constitution, but if Trump loses the elections in 2020, he could theoretically repeat his attempt in 2024.

We will remind that earlier Trump assessed the chances of winning the general election. The incumbent president urged voters to be careful and careful when voting.

Trump also said that under Biden, Americans will have a “boring life.” Speaking in Minnesota, Trump began criticizing Fox News, a television company traditionally considered Biden's sympathizers.
