Former US Presidential Assistant National Security Officer John Bolton, of his own free will, will not obey the Democrats' lower house of Congress call for a hearing for the impeachment of Donald Trump. This was reported by The Wall Street Journal, citing Bolton's lawyer Charles Cooper.

The lawyer made it clear that the ex-assistant to the head of state for national security is not inclined to agree to the challenge of the Democrats in the US Congress. Cooper said he was ready on behalf of Bolton to accept the legislator’s agenda from the Democratic Party.

Earlier, the Politico newspaper was the first to inform the Democrats in the House of Representatives about calling impeachment of US President Bolton and two other key employees of the White House’s National Security Council. Bolton is ordered to appear at the hearing on November 7, and John Eisenberg and Michael Ellis on November 4.

Earlier, The Washington Post reported that at least four SNB officers raised the alarm because of a telephone conversation between US President Donald Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky in July. According to these data, complaints began to come to the SNB legal adviser, Eisenberg, and later also to Bolton. The call allegedly concerned not only ordinary employees but also high-ranking officials such as Bolton himself and his deputy Charles Kapperman.
