Experts blame night clubs and discos for aggravating the situation with coronavirus, as people there violate social distance.
Italy has decided to close discos and Nightclubs and to make it mandatory to wear a mask outdoors at night. This is reported by Reuters.
The decision to increase quarantine restrictions was made due to the growing number of cases of coronavirus throughout the country, especially among young people.
Data showed that the number of new cases in Italy last week was more than double that recorded three weeks ago. The average age of people infected with the virus has fallen below 40 years.
Note that the new rules come into force on Monday, August 17, and will be in effect until the beginning of September. Masks will be needed from 18: 00 to 6: 00 am in places near bars and pubs where there may be a crowd of people.
The day before, 479 new cases were confirmed in Italy, compared with 629 on Saturday. Experts blamed the increase in nightlife, people returning from holidays, and young people who violate the rules of social distance.
