The United States set a world record for the speed of movement on the ground

The streamliner was able to accelerate to an average speed of 757 kilometers per hour and thereby set a new world record for a car with a piston internal combustion engine.

In the United States, on the Bonneville Salt Lake, the Speed Demon streamer has set a new world land speed record for a piston engine-powered car. Streamliner accelerated to 775 kilometers per hour, according to Facebook.

Despite the maximum speed given by the Speed Demon, the average of two races was recorded as a record — 757 kilometers per hour.

The streamliner is powered by Chevrolet's six-liter, twin-turbocharged HEMI V8. The Speed Demon makes 2,500 horsepower and has a seven-speed automatic transmission. The unit has four wheels, the front two are located one after the other.

The previous record was also held by Speed Demon and was set in 2018. The streamer was dispersed to 722 kilometers per hour.

Recall that the fastest car in the world was put up for auction. It is sold at auction for $20,000. The car has been stationary for over ten years.
