Eight cars of a freight train derailed on Friday on a railway section near the village of Masterpiece near Prague. Two people were injured. This was reported to journalists by the representative of the Czech Railway inspection Jan Kucera.

A spokesman for the Inspectorate said that the driver of the car, who was taken to a Prague hospital, and a railway employee were injured in the accident. The causes of the accident are being investigated by a Commission of experts drawn up by the Czech Railway Inspectorate. Train traffic has been disrupted in the section where the incident occurred.
