Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said Russia, Iran, and China are trying to influence the 2020 elections.

“At present, we are seeing how Russia, Iran, and China are becoming more active and, using increasingly sophisticated tactics, are trying to interfere in the elections,” Zuckerberg said in an interview with NBC News.

Zuckerberg assured that Facebook will be able to provide the necessary protection against interference.

“We are able to quickly detect them (attempts to intervene) and take the necessary actions,” said the head of Facebook.

Earlier, we wrote that instead of the proven “Russian trace” in the 2016 US elections, US President Donald Trump was of the opinion that Ukraine interfered in the election process. The US president was convinced that the unspecified “forces in Ukraine” associated with the Democratic Party were spreading information that denigrated him.

In addition, the personal lawyer of U.S. President Donald Trump Rudolf Giuliani promises to provide evidence of illegal influence by Ukraine on the US elections in 2016.
