A US court has sentenced a state Georgia resident to 15 years in prison for attempting to attack the White House with weapons and explosives.
It is noted that 23-year-old resident of cumming Hasher Jallal Taheb planned a terrorist attack on the White House because it was one of his obligations to participate in Jihad.
The investigation into Taheb continued for more than a year after receiving information from a local resident. In March 2018, he told law enforcement agencies that the young man was radicalized and planned to go abroad. In January 2019, he was arrested by FBI agents.
On January 31, 30-year-old Hannah Roemhild tried to attack the private residence of US President Donald Trump in Florida with a car. The woman danced on the roof of the car, and when they tried to calm her down, she got behind the wheel and tried to escape. After a short chase, she drove into the trump residence at a speed of about 100 kilometers per hour. Roemhild was not injured and was detained.
