The number of cases of coronavirus infection registered in Greece increased by 25 per day and reached 4007, the press service of the national health organization of Greece reported on July 19.
Among the 25 new cases, 16 were registered during entry checks. Out of all 4007 cases, 1106 (27.6%) are related to trips from abroad, 2048 (51.1%)-to contacts with already known carriers.
No new COVID-19 victims were registered during the day. A total of 194 people died due to the disease in the country, including 32.5% of women.
There are 13 people on intubation. The average age of those who became ill was 47 years, and those who died were 76 years old.
Since June 12, 46,893 analyses have been performed on checks at the entrance to the country by air transport, which gave 93 (0.2%) positive results.
Recall that on July 18, 19 new cases of infection were reported, while none of them occurred during checks at the entrance to the country.
