A long-awaited report on alleged Russian interference in British politics will be published within the next week.
The intelligence and security committee agreed on the morning of Thursday, July 16, to publish the report before the Parliament's summer recess begins next Wednesday, Sky UK reports.
Critics have previously accused the government of” sitting on “ the Russian report for nine months.
Recall that in January, the British security service (UK counterintelligence), as well as a special Committee of the Parliament of the United Kingdom made an important statement regarding Russian interference in the so-called Brexit.
As reported by the IZ group, the joint Royal Institute for defense research published a material in which the author analyzes the Kremlin's political initiative to simplify the procedure for obtaining Russian citizenship and its consequences for neighboring countries.
