The Space Forces of the US armed forces on Wednesday, July 15, launched a Minotaur-4 carrier rocket into orbit with four secret satellites. NASA reported that the launch was carried out in the interests of the US National office of military space intelligence (NRO).
The launch conducted from the Baikonur NASA wallops flight facility, located on the eponymous island off the Atlantic coast of the U.S. state of Virginia, at 09:46 East coast time USA.
вЂњThe launch of the NROL-129 mission is intended to fulfill the tasks of the National office of military space intelligence to provide intelligence to senior US politicians, the intelligence community and the Department of defense,вЂќ the office said in a statement.
The goals, orbit, size, and other characteristics of secret American satellites in the NROL-129 mission are not reported.

The Minotaur-4 four-stage launch vehicle was developed by Northrop Grumman Corporation based on the decommissioned Peacekeeper Intercontinental ballistic missile. It is capable of delivering a payload of up to 1,725 kg to a low earth orbit 185 km high.
