Smartphones of the iPhone 12 line will get at least four gigabytes of RAM. Such details were discussed by the publication MacRumors with reference to insiders and market analysts.
An insider under the nickname L0vetodream said on Twitter that the basic devices of the series will come out with four gigabytes of RAM, while the more expensive models-Pro and Pro Max-will have six gigabytes of RAM. The publication clarifies that L0vetodream was one of the bloggers who accurately revealed the details of the iPhone SE released in April.
The journalists stressed that analysts at Barclays and UBS also believe that the new models will have different RAM capacity. In particular, the iPhone 12 models with displays of 5.4 and 6.1 inches will get four gigabytes of RAM, and the top versions of devices with screens of 6.1 and 6.7 inches will come out with six gigabytes of RAM. In total, Apple will release four smartphones.
Earlier, analyst Jeff Pu said that the new Apple smartphones will become more expensive than the current generation of devices. The price of the base iPhone 12 model will start at $749, while the starting iPhone 11 was priced at $699. The expert believes that the rise in price is due to the introduction of 5G technologies and the use of OLED matrices in gadgets.
