In Poland, the second round of presidential elections is being held on Sunday. The incumbent head of state Andrzej Duda and the opposition candidate, Warsaw mayor Rafal Trzaskowski, are competing for the post.
Polling stations opened at 7: 00 am and will remain open until 21: 00. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, elections are held in a sanitary mode. Masks are required in polling stations.
According to the results of the first round, Duda received 43.5% of the votes, while 30.46% of the voters cast their votes for Rafal Trzaskowski.
According to the latest poll, Rafal Trzaskowski was leading by a narrow margin. It received the support of 47.4% of voters. Duda is supported by 45.7% of respondents. It is important that 6.9% of respondents have not yet decided who they will vote for.
