An American pedophile who was sentenced to 1,000 years in prison was released on parole. On Friday, July 3, reports the New York Post.
Peter Mallory from Georgia was released from prison after just eight years of serving his sentence. This was decided by the court of Appeal: pedophile had already served a sufficient term, and three weeks later the man was released. At the same time, the district attorney said that “I was powerless to stop” what was happening.
Mallory was arrested and charged with possessing indecent images of children, tampering with evidence and invasion of privacy in 2011. The judge before sentencing in 2012 even called the defendant “the most active collector of child pornography in the world.”
Prior to his arrest, Mallory was a member of the District Commission and owned an independent television station on the campus of West Georgia Technical College. Police investigating the uploading of pornographic photos and videos on campus suspected one of the students. However, during the search, it was on Mallory's computer that more than 26,000 files of child pornography were found.
In 2018, the United States released a pedophile who was sentenced to 300 years in prison. Michael McFadden was found guilty of corrupting six children. This was due to the fact that the final sentence was delayed, and its term exceeded the allowed one.
