Mass protests continue in the United States after the murder of African-American George Floyd by the police.
Most Americans believe that the situation in the country has gotten out of control, Forbes writes referring to a survey conducted by the Wall Street Journal and NBC News.
According to the survey, 80% of voters think so. 15% have the opposite opinion.
The survey was conducted amid a pandemic and mass protests due to the death during the detention of African-American George Floyd in Minneapolis.
Local authorities have already announced that the cityвЂ™s police will be disbanded, and a new model of public security will be established in its place.
вЂњWe have committed ourselves to liquidate police activity in the form in which we know it in the city of Minneapolis, and to restore, together with our community, a new model of public safety,вЂќ the statement said.
In a number of cities, stocks grew into riots, acts of vandalism, arson, and robbery. They were accompanied by clashes with security forces. There are casualties and numerous victims on both sides.
