The American company SpaceX, Ilona Mask, launched the Falcon 9 launch vehicle, on board of which there are 60 Starlink satellites. The company announced this on Twitter.

The launch took place on June 3 at 9:25 p.m. on the east coast of the United States. The rocket launched from the launch site at Cape Canaveral in Florida.

This launch of Starlink satellites is the eighth. The devices successfully entered orbit. SpaceX said it launched satellites with deployable flaps for the first time to protect them from sunlight. The first rung of the Falcon 9 landed on a platform in the Atlantic Ocean.

In mid-March, SpaceX also delayed launching the rocket with satellites a few seconds before launch due to a problem during the engine power check.
